At Angelic Feathers, every quilt and keepsake is handmade with love, thoughtfully crafted in our Glasgow studio, and designed to be cherished for years to come. We want every order to arrive safely, smoothly, and full of the care we put into making it.

Because of this, we want to be completely transparent about where we can currently ship and why some destinations are temporarily unavailable.

Where We Can Ship

We are delighted to offer delivery to all countries outside the European Union, including:

  • Australia & New Zealand

  • USA & Canada

  • Japan, South Korea, and other Asia-Pacific countries

  • Other non-EU countries worldwide

For these destinations:

  • Customers are responsible for customs duties, import taxes, and shipping fees.

  • Delivery times vary depending on the country and courier service. Estimated times will be provided when you order.

  • We package every order carefully to ensure it travels safely.

Temporary Pause: Europe & Ireland

At this time, we are unable to accept orders for delivery to European Union countries, including Ireland.

We hope to review this in the future and will update our website if international EU shipping becomes possible again.

Why We Cannot Ship to Europe or Ireland at This Time

Since the United Kingdom left the European Union, the rules for sending goods from the UK to EU countries—including Ireland—have changed significantly.

These changes include:

  • Customs declarations: Every shipment must have full customs paperwork completed.

  • Import taxes and VAT: EU customers are responsible for import VAT and potential duties, which must be calculated and paid before the item can be delivered.

  • Regulatory compliance: Certain products require documentation, approvals, or a responsible person within the EU to ensure safety and legality.

  • Data protection obligations (GDPR): Selling across EU borders would require full compliance with EU General Data Protection Regulation, which adds additional requirements for handling sensitive personal data, especially relevant for personalised keepsakes made from your clothing.

For a small business like ours, these requirements are currently administratively and financially unfeasible.

This is not a decision we’ve taken lightly, but it ensures we can continue to focus on what we do best: creating safe, beautiful, and meaningful handmade items.

Shipping & Delivery Information

  • All orders are sent via trusted postal or courier services.

  • You will receive a dispatch notification and, where available, tracking information.

  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on customs processing, weather, or courier services.

  • Risk passes to the customer once the item has been dispatched.

Caring for Your Order During Transit

Every Angelic Feathers item is packaged with care, wrapped securely, and cushioned for protection.
For keepsakes and quilts made from your fabrics or clothing, we recommend insured shipping for your own peace of mind when sending items to us.
