The Process
Creating your memory quilt is a personal journey, and I'm here to guide you every step of the way.
1. Let's Chat
Every memory quilt begins with a conversation. We'll discuss your ideas, the garments you'd like to include, your preferred size and any special details you'd love to incorporate.
3. Thoughtful Design
Once I receive your garments, I'll carefully plan the design, making the very best use of each piece. Every quilt is individually designed to preserve your memories while creating a beautiful and balanced finished keepsake.
5. Ready to Come Home
Before your quilt leaves my studio, it is carefully checked and beautifully wrapped. Wherever possible, I love to deliver your finished quilt in person, sharing the joy of seeing your treasured memories transformed into something truly special. If distance makes this difficult, your quilt will be carefully packaged and sent securely to your home.
6. A Keepsake to Treasure
Your finished memory quilt is ready to be enjoyed—a beautiful reminder of the people, moments and memories that matter most, bringing comfort, warmth and love for years to come.
2. A Personal Collection
Wherever possible, I love to collect your treasured garments in person. It gives us the opportunity to meet, talk through your ideas and ensure I fully understand the memories behind your quilt. If meeting isn't practical, your clothing can be carefully posted to me instead.
4. Handmade with Love
Using over 50 years of sewing experience, I lovingly handcraft your quilt with patience, precision and great attention to detail. Every stitch is carefully sewn to create a keepsake that's made to be treasured for generations.
